Ready, Set, Launch by Kim Mosiman & Lea Turner

I don’t think we knew what we were in for when we walked into the conference where we met for the first time.

Each of us had traveled alone, eager but uncertain, hoping to connect with other authors who had signed with the same publisher. A brief meet-and-greet eased our nervousness, but it was over the course of a few short days that we built something much greater than networking—we found true friendship.

Fast forward a year and a half, and our journey together has been more than just about books. Yes, we’ve faced the highs and lows of writing and publishing, but more importantly, we’ve walked alongside each other in life. We’ve cheered each other on, cried together, and reminded one another of our worth and purpose. These friendships have become the foundation of our success, proving that we are always stronger together.

We’ve learned that true friendships are built on honesty, support, and faith. Real friends don’t just applaud your accomplishments—they challenge you to grow, they pray for you when the road is hard, and they celebrate your victories as if they were their own. Writing a book is a deeply personal journey, but we’ve discovered it doesn’t have to be a lonely one. Every author deserves a circle of encouragement, and that’s exactly what we found.

The best part? These friendships extend beyond writing. They’ve become a constant in our lives, a reminder that no matter where we are in our creative or personal journeys, we are not alone. We lift each other up, offer guidance, and remind one another that our voices matter.

Looking back, none of us expected a short trip to change everything. But that’s the beauty of life—sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: you don’t have to go it alone. There’s nothing more powerful than friends who walk beside you, cheering you on every step of the way.

About the Book:

You wrote a book to inspire, encourage, and change lives… but what if no one ever reads it?

Writing a book is only half the journey—getting it into the hands of readers is the other. Without a solid marketing plan, your book won’t reach the audience it was meant to impact. But don’t worry—you don’t have to figure it out alone.

  • Know how to identify your reader so your book reaches the right audience

  • Use the best book marketing tools to increase visibility and sales

  • Create a launch team that helps spread the word and boost credibility

  • Prepare LONG before launch week to ensure a smooth and successful release

You don’t have to be a marketing expert to sell books—you just need the right plan. Let this book be your guide to turning your work into a movement, ensuring your story is read, shared, and remembered.
