Helping women rediscover purpose, joy
& health in their second act

Hi! I’m Kim, a woman smack dab in the middle of my second act. My boys are grown, building lives with their wives, and blessing me with the sweetest grandsons. These days, I enjoy writing, traveling, and perfecting my new favorite role: Nana.

I’m a certified nutritionist and personal trainer who once owned a boutique gym. When I closed it in 2017, I thought I was ready to retire and quietly fade into the sunset. Instead, I found myself wrestling with a loss of purpose. On many days, I found myself alone, letting go of the healthy habits I had depended on for years.

But as a lifelong coach, I recognized the signals. Little by little, I rebuilt my health by weaving small, sustainable practices back into my routine.

That journey became my first book, Reflections of Joy (May 2024)—a Christlit Award winner. It’s written for women entering their own second act, offering encouragement to release what no longer serves them and step into the opportunities God is placing in front of them. I’ve since released a companion journal, My Owner’s Manual, and Ready, Set, Launch, a workbook for authors with my coaching partner Lea Turner.

In 2023, I became a Go & Tell Gals certified Christian life coach, and since then, I’ve expanded my work to include Book Launch coaching with Lea Turner at Writer-2-Writer. Over the past year, I discovered something deeper: my true passion is not in the busyness of a launch, but rather empowering women to step boldly into what they feel called to do—whether that’s writing a book, tending to their health, or finally pursuing a long-held dream.

Alongside coaching and writing, I also co-host The Whole Woman Podcast, where my friend Rachel Lavin and I dive into the mental, spiritual, physical, and social aspects of wellness. Together, we explore what it means to live as whole women—rooted in faith, guided by wisdom, and open to joy in every season.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you leave here reminded of this simple truth: you are not too late, and it’s not too hard. Until we meet again…

Be happy 🧡
